Automatic system via GSM Driving data is gathered by GPS or via connection to the car. The driving log is then sent to the booking system via GSM. This is usually done in conjunction with the booking system sending out the next booking to the car to reduce GSM traffic costs. If preferred data can be sent directly when the car is returned or continuously while driving if you want to plot the car's route on a map, so-called tracking.
With this solution in conjunction with an automatic solution for accessing the car you will have a fully automated and very easy to use system. A booking will roughly look like this:
A car is booked in the web based booking system.
The car is accessed via driver's license, cell phone or RFID smart card.
The car is used and returned. Driving log is sent automatically.
