Key locker without connection to the booking system Since the key locker doesn't have a connection to the booking system a code is used instead. This code is bound to a specific car. When you book a car the corresponding code is revealed to you. If you want to change a code it has to be done manually for both the key locker and for the car in booking system. This option means a less secure system and it puts a greater demand on the users to use it in the right way.
Key management - Step by step:
A car is booked in the web based booking system and the user gets a code.
The user go to the key lockers and:
Enter the code in the correct locker.
Interlock as option.
The user takes the car key, close the key locker, unlock the car and use it as normal.
When the user has finished using the car he/she goes to the key lockers and:
Enter the code in the correct locker.
Interlock as option.
The key locker is opened. The user returns the key and closes the locker.
