Hardware GPS GPS provides an easy way of registering driving data and produces a very detailed driving log. The GPS logs position and time a number of times per minute. How often it logs position and time can be set. The more frequent the loggings are made the more detailed the driving data will be. The backside to this is that the memory where the logs are stored will get used up faster. GPS can give you information about km driven, route, stop positions, times for different stretches and times for stops, driving speed and more. GPS can also be used to draw the route on a map, afterwards or in real time (tracking). | |
